75th Golden Globes

I anxioutly waited for the globes last night. Curious what people will wear... How will they do black? All black or with subtle hints? Will some support and others not?

I was so proud of the many actresses whom brought activist as their guest and those that spoke out. Not just for them in their industry but for everyone in all positions and walks of life. This is an issue that happens everywhere and it is about time we not tollerate it and act.

With that said the night was filled with some amazing people dressed for the cause and the event. I chose to highlight some of my favorite strong women who always seem to dress to the nine.

Hello 2018!

Hello 2018!
Has anyone made a list of resolutions and do the complete opposite every day this year??? OMG I am SO guilty of this!

Look, I am not one for new year resolutions. They've never worked in my favor and this time proved the same. But here I am writing about it. I looked at 2018 as a way to buckle down and get myself together yet I am still struggling... And its not like they are even hard too but ugh are they hard. lol!!! Story of my life.

So we are 7 days into the new year and here I go... I've decided to do what I can and take these more as guidelines to keep in mind but if I don't do them of well. I do what I can and do what I do...

My 2018 resolutions:
1. Take better care of myself.
2. Eat whole foods and skip the processed ones
3. Limit alcohol to 1 drink a night
4. Do a quick 20 min work out everyday
5. Be the best mom and wife I can be
6. Explore and meet new people
7. And make that money honey lol!

So far 1, 2, 3, and definitely 4 have not happened... but there is always tomorrow. Today I am lounging around eating cookie wearing pjs and drinking a 1/2 bottle of wine.

Goodbye 2017!

Peace out 2017! Kissing you a bitter sweet good bye...

2017 was filled with travel, music, and major life events... In the last 2 months I got married, honeymooned, bought a business, moved to Nashville, remodeled a restaurant, and planted roots.

I am still adjusting and trying to keep up with all the life decisions I've made. Nashville isn't exactly making it easy but taking it one day at a time is working...

Eddie Borgo

Inspired by shapes and symbols associated with adornment, modern art and architecture, Eddie Borgo creates collections that challenge our ideas of classicism and luxury.
Eddie Borgo began his exploration of adornment at university, establishing his pioneering point of view at that time. His fascination with the ideas attached to symbolism in jewelry began to evolve in a stage of experimentation, at which time he began making jewelry as one off pieces. After being introduced to a select number of stylists and editors, he was commissioned to create jewelry for the runways of Marchesa, Joseph Altuzarra, and Proenza Schouler. He formally launched his collection in spring summer 2008.
Eddie’s philosophy in jewelry comes from his attraction to the timelessness in modern sculpture and shape, and an obsession with capturing this spirit in his work. As his collections evolve, so does his unique ability to constantly redefine our ideas of modernity in jewelry, sculpture, and object.

To Microblade or Not

It doesn't matter if you like them arched and feathered or straight and bold, eyebrows are arguably the most important facial feature. If you're not satisfied with the ones you have, there are so many ways to update them, including brow gel, pencils, and even tattooing. But now there's a very natural option that delivers semi-permanent results. Ladies, we'd like to introduce you to microblading. Unlike the sometimes Sharpie-esque effects of permanent makeup, microblading is more of an embroidery of trompe l'œil strokes that look just like real hairs.

I went to Brow_Bo$$
It was a total of 2 appointments with 10 days of recover for each. Meaning no getting them wet or sleeping on your face... Harder than you think. Trust me! Especially living in Las Vegas.

After appointment #1
My brows were shaped and the initial layer was set..

After appointment #2
They were done.

It was hard at first because they start off dark and very drawn on. It isn't until they peel and you are able to wash your face that they reveal this beautiful natural shape. I love my brows!!!

10 days after my last appointment
